Challenger Version 2.1

Challenger Version 2.1- I realized how little I knew about car modeling after watching a demo reel that was circulating around my school for a while. I decided to revisit the car I did a while back having made a decent environment but had a bad model at the time. Here is the progress on the Revamp so far. I think I have come far compared to the previous version.

I am seriously motivated tonight. Check it out!!!

Ancient Modern- Egypt

This is a project I began working on for
hard surfaces and organic modeling, but
the theme has kind of inspired me. I am
currently trying to gather a descent portfolio
together by December to apply for Cal Arts, or
Vancouver film school. Something along those lines for my masters degree. Think of stuff for me
to add. I am thinking about adding a old school
Mercedes parked outside. Im gonna keep going
with this one, but probably render a fly through
or turn around for the portfolio this week, so
that will come soon.

10at215 Intro Material

This is the 10at215 animation ive been working

on with Team Who? This is my progress on the portion

I'm responsible for, the intro. There is still alot to be revised

on this short 30 second sequence but I feel like Im getting

better at Flash and Compositing CG everyday which

makes all this work well worth the experience. And,

I really like the direction this whole thing is headed.

go to 10at215.blogspot.com to check out more.

The More You learn, the More You Learn you Don't Know anything. Or some other ancient proverb like that. This is a video of the progress i made on this project for my portfolio. Even though its way better then the last, there's still a lot to be done.

TAX MAN!

http://www.knpr.org/audio2009/SON-mp3/090929_irs-investigations.mp3

Today I was obsessively following KNPR, my local public radio station when a story related to tax law sparked my interest. The head of the felony devision for the Nevada IRS was adimately defending the IRS as a friendly institution who is there to help the little man as they fight high dollar tax evasion cases. My whole life has been in poverty up into this point, partly because the IRS pursuit of a single mother of two children for a debt passed on from my tax evading father. I called in, and actually got through. I have never felt like my first amendment rights have been more effective then they have been today. Follow the links to hear me stutter over my nervousness as I stick it to the man!

Challenger Project

I have been working on this project for a long time in my free time. I started off just modeling a Dodge Challenger for fun because I worked at a Chrysler Jeep Dodge store for four years and had long admired this ride. Only recently has the car started to look right and take detail. I am already jumping ahead though planning a city for it to race in and experimenting rigging it myself. Wish me Luck! status to come soon.

Push Push

This is an extra credit assignment im working on for my animation class. It is a push pull exercise, but mine kinda ended up like a push and be squashed animation. Tell me what you can think, i want to use it in my portfolio so be honest.

These are the models I have been working on for our production team class. Follow that blog at 10at215.blogspot.com to see what its all about. We're all havin lots of fun messing with Toonshading.

Quadruped

This is a 4 legged walkcycle I made for my advanced 3D animation course. I used this mammoth rig i got from highend3d.com Once i got into the groove it took me a few hours of tweeking. Check out this playblast, You'll get to see it rendered out soon. Im also considering making a heard

The Villa

This quarter i really feel like the quality of my 3D work is improving. This was a piece for my advanced lighting and texturing class. I think some of the modeling can still use some work, but I impressed myself with the quality of the fabric and the realism of the sun light coming through the windows. Still a work in progress, give me some critique yo!

Feeling Inspired

Working on production team has been a positive experience. This quarter I have really upped the output of my work. Check out some of my favorite pieces...
